Shrawan is the fourth month of the Nepali calendar, following Asar. The harvest season concludes during Shrawan, and on the 15th day of this month, people celebrate by worshiping deities and presenting Kheer as an offering. Kheer, a traditional dish made from rice, milk, sugar, and dry fruits, is regarded as a sacred food both for offering to God and for eating among the local community. This celebration is deeply rooted in Nepal’s agricultural traditions.
